Special Projects Division (SPD)
Index Computer Solutions Special Projects Division was initially created to undertake the design and implementation of solutions for specific areas of need.
The charter of SPD requires that an extremely high standard of planning and development work is maintained at all times.
The staff of SPD are drawn from all company sectors to ensure that not only functionality is dealt with on any given project but that ease of use and end-user satisfaction is maintained on each job.
SPD members include programming, marketing and sales people as well as planning and design specialists. This unique grouping allows input from a more "public" perspective so that the final product has a look and feel that the end-user at the desk can readily identify with and understand.
The advantages are, simply, that any organisation that engages Index SPD to provide a solution can be assured of gaining a product that their staff will be comfortable with and that will be logical and easy to master thus minimising staff training and keyboard errors.
The Index SPD process.
Step 1. Look closely at clients stated requirements to ascertain feasibility. Step 2. Do a detailed analysis of clients needs including a breakdown of various scenarios and how these may impact on final project. Step 3. Provide a fixed cost proposal for project completion with clear guidelines as to specific outcome requirements. Detailing all aspects of project and projected time for completion. Step 4. Finalise planning. Step 5. Compile solution and maintain liaison with client advising of project progress and ensuring predefined targets are met. Careful testing and debugging. Step 6. Install/implement solution and train clients users in use of program. |
